Blog: Entry #1

I have been threatening to write an autobiography/memoir for years but thought that it would have to wait for retirement. The last week of the school year, May 2022, my students were basically finished and few came to class, so I was reading books. Thursday of that week I told my son that I was on my fifth novel for the week and he said, “dad, if you have that kind of time why don’t you start writing?” I took him up on it. As I am writing, I want to pay tribute to God and to all the people who have been part of my journey. Some are mentioned in the story. Others, whether men or angels I don’t know, popped into and out of my life at the right time to support, redirect, stop, or start me as was needed.

To the best of my knowledge, with a little poetic license/embellishment for readability, this is an account of some of the events and people in the story of my life.
